The Windmill Cup is an international tennis tournament for the best players aged 14&under. The talented youngsters compete for ranking points and for the Windmill Cup. Players come from countries across the globe; including teams from Asia, New Zealand, Africa and North and South America. Furthermore, many participants originate from Europe and the Dutch top players also show their worth. In 2017, the Windmill Cup welcomed over 200 players from more than 60 different countries.
For the second time in 2018, an ITF wheelchair tournament for juniors (18&under) is played as well at the Windmill Cup. This tournament is organised in the highest category: ITF Grade A. The world’s best junior wheelchair tennis players will come to the Netherlands to battle for the title in Oosterbeek.
The Windmill Cup is much more than a tennis tournament. Of course, tennis of the highest level and quality comes first, but we also raise awareness for sustainability in relation to top sports, youth and the environment. Playing tennis together is fun, which is why we love to do and show just that. Young, older, disabled or able-bodied, playing tennis or new to sports: the Windmill Cup hosts events for everybody. The entry to matches and all events is free.
